  1. Dogs can be helper dogs for all sorts of issues. They can sense lower blood pressure, the symptoms for seizures, they can be hearing dogs to alert their person when someone is talking or there is a dangerous situation. My dog is a helper dog (properly declared) for my anxiety and bipolar. Having him around gives me something other than my anxieties to concentrate on, and lowers my stress levels.
