    It's important to remember that the technology is NOT the only thing to consider when looking into a medical alert system. When we were looking for one for my mother, we called around to the local home health agencies and asked them what they were seeing in the area… what worked well… what didn't… how well the local emergency response system interfaced with them… etc. I'd suggest you do that, because each geographic area has it's own challenges.
