		<description>not so good if you are a burn victim, have a lot of blood covering you etc. medics/doctors may look for a bracelet but its possible if you were in a life or death situation (really the whole reason for the bracelet and your tattoo question), then they wouldnt probably stop to consider you would have it tattoo&#39;d on you. 

fire and sharp objects could damage your skin and along with it your medical info, but bracelets would still be intact

i do however, think its a pretty neat idea, would maybe work better if it were tattoo&#39;d somewhere they would definitely look (like the side of your neck when checking your pulse) and somewhere thats less likely to sustain injury</description>
